Victor Sheraton Wide Decorated

This was one of the dozen or so "wide" Period Victrolas which were introduced shortly after WWI. The Sheraton Wide Period Victrola was available in a painted finish, as shown here, or in fancy inlay style.

The painted cabinet at $1000, curiously, cost $200 less than the wood finish cabinet. It is thought that a couple dozen of each style were produced.
