Victor Electrola-Radiola RE-75

The RE-75 was the last radio phonograph introduced before The Victor Talking Machine Company was purchased by RCA in late 1929. The radio was entirely a Victor design, and was extremely popular. The performance of this set, even though it was not a superhetrodyne, was outstanding, and the large dial predicted the style of radio dial that would become popular a few years hence. The buy of this set, or the smaller RE-45, could look forward to many years of satisfactory service, as the set remained modern for longer that the sets of the rival manufacturers. The RE-75 cost a modest $350 when new, yet it looked much pricier.
