Edison Gem The Edison Gem Phonograph was the company's price leader. The Gem was introduced in 1899 at $7.50, although the price was later raised. The standard horn on a Gem would have been an all-black horn without a bell, but a horn such as the one shown here could have been purchased at the time for an additional cost. The later, more expensive, Gems featured a small paneled horn unique to the Gem. |
