Columbia Phonograph Companion,Volume II The Columbia Phonograph Companion, Volume II, is the second in the line of collector's guides from author Robert W. Baumbach. In this book, all of the various disc model Columbias are pictured and described, from the first "Toy" Disc Graphophone of 1899 through all the Grafonolas of the teens to the electrical phonographs, radios and combinations of 1929. This handsome book is hardbound, and contains 272 pages. 170+ various models of Columbia are pictured. Also included is a guide for identifying Columbia machines. Contributor Raymond Wile provides a scholarly look at the beginning of the disc industry from the prospective of Columbia's involvement. Columbia Phonograph Companion Volume II has been out of print for several years and will not be reprinted.
