1938 Capehart 110

This cabinet illustrates the style and finish that made Capehart Phonographs so popular in the 1930s. Although the cabinet styling is restrained, it is very tastefully proportioned and detailed. The choice of veneers as shown in this example is characteristic of all Capehart cabinets, and reflects the very high standards of the Capehart designers and cabinet makers.

This cabinet was the least expensive model offered with the turn-over turntable, and cost $575 when new. The changer was accessed through the left side of the lift lid while the radio controls were under the right lid. The single speaker was located behind the lower center doors.
